Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 September 2026.
Reality Daily is a satirical publication. This policy is not satire. It describes, plainly and accurately, the only personal information this website collects and what happens to it.
What we collect
If you subscribe to the weekly dispatch, we store your email address, a random unsubscribe token, a short label recording which page you subscribed from, and the date you subscribed. That is the entire record.
We do not collect your name, your address, or your payment details, because we do not ask for them and there is nothing here to buy. We do not run advertising, advertising networks, or third-party trackers. We do not build profiles of readers, and we do not log the IP addresses or browser fingerprints of people who subscribe.
What we do with it
Your address is used for exactly one thing: sending you the weekly email. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or share it with anybody for marketing purposes, and we will not start.
Who else touches it
Two service providers necessarily handle your address on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts this website and runs the subscription form.
- Resend delivers the email itself.
- Neon hosts the database the subscriber list lives in.
Each processes the data only to provide that service to us. We use no other third party.
Leaving
Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately and requires no login, no reply, and no explanation. You may also write to the address below and ask to be removed, and we will remove you.
When you unsubscribe we mark the record inactive so that we do not email you again. If you would rather the row were deleted outright, ask and we will delete it.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.

A note on the rest of the site
Everything published here as journalism is invented for comedic purposes. Reporters, editors, experts, institutions, documents, quotations and events in our articles are fictional, and nothing in them is a factual claim about any real person or organization. This page, and this page alone, is a literal description of our data practices.
